Tamer Nafar performed a Solo at the Above Club in Amman
On the 30th of September and for the first time ever, Tamer Nafar performed at the Above Club in Amman, Jordan, a club owned by the well-known Arabic artist, Ziad Saleh.
On the 2nd of October, the opening event of the first Official Barcelona fan club in Occupied Palestine that took place at the Cinemana, Nazareth, was wrapped up by Tamer Nafar’s performance.
On the 15th of October, a new video to the song ‘Salam Ya Sahbi’ shot at the Rawabi concert and that featured Dj Jamil Nafar, the guitarist Firas Nadaf and the drummer Issa Khoury was uploaded to Tamer Nafar’s official Youtube channel.
Speaking of this song, Nafar stated: “Since the beginning of 2019, until this day of our performance, 71 victims were killed as a result of criminal assaults in Occupied Palestine. Yet the moment our performance ended, the number of crime victims increased to 72. Due to these numbers, I felt it was important for me to share a personal story.
On the 21st of October, DAM’s new music video “Milliardat” was released on the band’s official YouTube channel. This is the third music video released from their new album: “Ben Hana w Mana” which was directed by both Amr Jabarin and DAM.
October, also known as “Pink October” is a month of mobilization against breast cancer. For this reason, Tamer had two performances with the slogan “Get checked, we love you” aiming to raise awareness of the disease and motivate women to get checked.
Throughout the breast cancer awareness month, The Basma Foundation organized a charity and volunteering event that was supposed to take place in Kabul and where Tamer Nafar was invited to perform at. However, there were those who requested to cancel Tamer’s show as according to them, “Music does not fit in with Kabul’s essence”. Due to the heavy pressure that was put on the local council and their lack of ability to fight it, the performance was moved to Nazareth.
